Over 60 parent and student volunteers came together on Saturday, February 25th to weed, water, clean, plant flowers, build a brand new cedar garden shed, and meet the architect leading the design of our new green schoolyard, Richard Parker. Richard described the plans for Fairmount's expanded outdoor classroom and then spent all weekend helping construct our gorgeous new garden shed. Schoolyard renovations will take place this summer!
Thank you, volunteers, for making Garden Project Day so much fun. It was wonderful to meet many new parents and to have so many families working together in the garden.
